Departing guests are asked to leave the property as they found it by
10am.
Please could you advise our agent, Cecilia of your flight times so
that every effort can be made to have the property ready for you.
Also, please let us know if you have any special requirements.
Minimum rental period is one week. Discount is offered on rentals
longer than 2 weeks.
SERVICE
All the arrangements for the general running of the house are taken
care of by our agents AYS Property Management services. Cecilia will
welcome you on arrival and give you the house keys and any information
you may require during your stay. She can be contacted by mobile and
will also help with emergencies or problems that may crop up. Out of
hours calls may be charged for if they are the responsibility of the
tenant ie loss of keys.
STAFF
The house will be cleaned every week and there will be a change of
linen. Please report any breakages or equipment not working to Cecilia
as her husband will come out and put it right.
WELCOME PACK
A welcome pack can be provided at a small charge, please email or ring
our agent Cecilia with your requirements. Alternatively, you can take
a 2 minute stroll down to the local shops, when you arrive where you
will find everything you need to start your holiday.
CAR HIRE
There are many car hire firms in Madeira. There is one 2 minutes from
Magnolia house in Garajau. We ourselves always book on the internet
prior to our visit and pick the car up at the airport. Car hire is
around 250euros a week so its worth shopping around for a better deal.
LOCAL INFORMATION
There is a local English monthly paper called ‘The Brit’ which is very
useful. There are several tourist offices in Funchal and around the
island.
I recommend the book ‘A Rough Guide to Madeira’ prior to your visit,
which will give you a good overall view of the island and things to
do.
